Gold Feted

Just in case there was even an ounce of doubt in your mind as to whether or not gold jewelery will ever go out of style, I wanted to assure you that no, it will not. A woman who accents her ensemble with flecks of gold always looks a little more demure and polished (to test this theory simply reference old pictures of my grandmother, and since I am not near a scanner, how you go about this is up to you). Finding unique and luxe gold pieces to add to my collection is one of my obsessions, and Emily Elizabeth Jewelry has become my new outlet of choice for discovering decadent and affordable gold baubles.

Handmade in New York City, Emily Elizabeth Jewelry (which you may recognize from this post) is feminine and classic with modern accents. The namesake of the company created a small collection of pieces in the fall of 2006 and has remained true to her signature style working with gold plated brass charms and chains. The line offers uniquely detailed pieces that are all reasonably priced. A few of my favorite pieces include the Chain of Love necklace, the Button Flower Bangle and her assortment of gold plated bobby pins. Check out the full line here, which pieces do you want to add to your collection?
